Scratchings: An Illustrated Edition of the Irish Folklore Collected by W.B. Yeats

 Scratchings is a handmade limited edition book containing selected stories from WB Yeats’ ‘Fairy and Folktales of the Irish Peasantry’ and original illustrations, exploring the iterative qualities inherent in oral storytelling and printmaking. This project was undertaken with the support of a Fulbright Open Research Award, and the resultant art book is now held by the National Gallery of Ireland, the Royal Irish Academy Library, the James Joyce Library, Trinity College Library, and the National Irish Visual Arts Library.
